Joanna M. (Decker) Watt passed away peacefully at age 100 on April 13, 2016 in Saratoga, California. She was born in Butler, N.J. on August 5, 1915, the daughter of Franklin Decker and Annie (Trumbour) Decker and lived in Butler for 90 years before moving to California. Joanna graduated from St. Anthony Commercial High School and worked in the office of the Pequanock Rubber Company until her marriage to Harold R. Watt on April 13, 1941. Harold predeceased her on December 14, 1983.Surviving Joanna are a son John Watt (Sandra) of Saginaw, Michigan, a daughter Joan Lynch (Jack) of Los Gatos, California and a daughter-in-law Roseann Watt of Newtown, Pennsylvania. Also surviving are two sisters, Alice Connizzo of Haskell, N.J. and Maryellen Eckrich of Butler, N.J. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard Watt (Anita) and Timothy Watt, two brothers Edward Decker and Arthur Decker and a great grandson David Glodek.Joanna was blessed with seven grandchildren, Meredith (Watt) Glodek, Gregory Watt, Scott Lynch, Brian Lynch, Erica (Watt) Padden, Russell Watt and Christopher Watt. She also leaves eleven great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at St Anthony RC Church in Butler on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at 11am. A memorial visiting will be held prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30am at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ.
