Our beloved mother Jodi Smith Luke entered into Gods kingdom on April 6th, 2022; suddenly and unexpectedly. Jodi was born to Roger and Judith Smith on April 24, 1966, at Chilton Memorial Hospital. When Jodi was younger, she loved to ride the ponies that were her grandfathers. She also had rabbits that she adored among other pets throughout her life. She always loved all animals and would have taken them all home if she could. She enjoyed family camping trips and fishing. She attended Butler high school. Jodi met her first love in 1982 and had 3 children. Her first child Kevin in 1984 and then two more beautiful children Tammi and Christopher. She and her husband separated, and she went on to meet someone new and had one more beautiful blessing, Tiffany. Jodi was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. She loved church, loved sharing the word of God, and her own love and warmth for our savior Jesus Christ with as many people as possible. She was always trying to tell everyone what bible verses we needed to read and why they were important. Jodi adored her grandchildren Vincenzo and Alara, probably more than her own children. Being a grandma gave her purpose and filled her heart with so much joy. Although her time spent with them was short, her memory will always be dearly cherished within our hearts. Jodi joins her parents Roger and Judith and her grandparents Thomas and Evelyn in Heaven among many other cherished loved ones. She is survived by her four children Kevin, Tammi, Christopher and Tiffany, her two beautiful grandchildren Vincenzo and Alara, and her beloved dog Yumyum. Mother, you left us beautiful memories, your love has been and will be our guide. Although we cannot see you, we know you're always at our side. "The righteous pass away; the Godly often die before their time. And no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For the Godly who die will rest in peace." Isaiah 57 v 1-2 Visitation will be held on Saturday May 7, 2022, from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ.
