John B. Slowikowski

John B.Slowikowski, age 91, of Bloomingdale, entered into eternal rest on his 91st birthday, Thursday, July 18th, 2013. Mr. Slowikowski was born in Scranton, PA, the son of the late John and the late Nellie (Ryzner)Slowikowski. He was the loving husband of the late Helen (Tybel) Slowikowski. John was a veteran of WWII, serving in the 499th Air Service Squadron of the US Army. An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed hiking, fishing and hunting. For many years, he worked for Bendix as a carpenter and he was a member of the Bloomingdale Seniors. Mr. Slowikowski is survived by his loving siblings, Verna Paczkowski (Pat) and Bill Slowikowski (Ann), along with many nieces, nephews and other family members. Visiting hours will be Monday, July 22, 2013 from 10am to 11:30am at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Monday 11:30am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
