John Charles Gagliardi

John Charles Gagliardi, 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence on July 26, 2015. He was born in Caggiano, Salerno, Italy on July 4, 1925, the son of the late Agnes and Antonio Gagliardi. He served in the United States Army in the Pacific theatre during WWII and was decorated with 2 Bronze Star medals. He was married in 1948 to Josephine Gagliardi and they raised their children in Kinnelon, NJ from 1956 to 1992, and also in Mantoloking, NJ, before residing in Atlantic Beach, FL. John was the founder of The Ace Group, a New York City graphic arts company, established in 1970, and is survived by sons Anthony (Jody), Vincent, and daughter Louisa (Tom Isaacs) and 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, brother Joseph Gagliardi (Sadie), sisters Theresa Clementi and Antoinette Colletti.Visitation will be held at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ on Friday, July 31 at 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Mass will be at Our Lady of Magnificat Church, Miller Road, Kinnelon, NJ on Saturday, August 1 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery on Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ.
