John F Knapp

John F. Knapp, 67, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Carewell Health Medical Center in East Orange NJ. Born September 9, 1954, John was raised in Kinnelon, NJ by the late Michael and Frances (Marshall) Knapp. He lived in Lake Stockholm for 15 years before moving back to Morris County. He worked for Litton Systems, Airtron Division, in Morris Plains for many years before starting his own computer software company, CDA in Dover NJ. He enjoyed listening to the Beatles and was an avid NY Giants and Mets fan, often holding season tickets to their games. John is survived by his son John T. Knapp and his wife Stacy of Succasunna; His daughter Jennifer Osborne of Lake Hopatcong; Five grandchildren, Kimberly VanArsdale, Kristin Daffron, Matthew, William and Amanda Knapp; Four great-grandchildren, Elliot, Logan, Eli and Amelia. He is also survived by his brothers Michael Knapp and Timothy Knapp, and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his brothers Terry and James, and his grandson Jason VanArsdale. Private burial service will be held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover NJ. . There are no gallery images.
