John G. Sabo

John G. Sabo, age 71, of Midland Park, formerly of Clifton, NJ, died Friday, October 16, 2009. Mr. Sabo was born in Passaic, NJ, the son of the late John and the late Mary (Mayurnik) Sabo Sr. John was the owner of North Testing Company in Newark, and also worked for RCA in Somerville, NJ as an Analytical Chemist. He served in the Air Force Reserves, was a member of the American Chemical Society, and was a very intelligent man who loved being with his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 loving years Rose (nee Lonetto) Sabo, a beloved daughter Jennifer Sabo, and a loving brother Robert Sabo and his wife Cookie. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, including Laura, Bob, Brad and Leigh, and many adored great nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Sunday, October 18, 2009, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 8:00pm also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be held in private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, in his memory.
