O'CONNOR- John J., "Jack", 80, of Pompton Lakes, NJ, passed away Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 at the Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, NJ. Born in Astoria, NY, he was the son of the late John and the late Mildred (Smith) O'Connor. He served during World War II in the Army. He was a Manager, employed by Wigder Chevrolet, Livingston, NJ, in the parts and service department. Survived by his wife of 50 years Lois (Shippee) O'Connor, dear sister-in-law Irene Anderson, eight loving nieces and nephews, William "Bill", Glenn, Lois Jeanne, Brian, Cray and his wife Darlene, Kevin ,and Blair Anderson and wife Patricia, and Irene Jergensen and husband Bill. He is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, January 24th ,2008, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A Funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
