John Maharg

John R Maharg, age 74, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Paterson , died Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Mr. Maharg was born in Paterson , NJ the son of the late John and the late Alice (De Julia) Maharg. He served in the Army Reserves and was employed by IBEW Local 102 as an Electrician. John was a member of the Wortendyke Field & Stream Assoc., the Hudson River Fisherman's Assoc. and the Double "V" Rod and Gun Club. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Dolores (Tomys) Maharg, two beloved sons Herb and Richard and his wife April and a loving brother, Eugene Thompson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler, NJ on Saturday, May 1st at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to TRI-BORO FIRST AID SQUAD INC PO BOX 222 BUTLER , NJ 07405, in his memory.
