Joseph J. Piastrelli

Joseph J Piastrelli, age 85, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Paterson, died Thursday, May 22, 2014. Mr Piastrelli was born in Charleroi, PA the son of the late Julio and Norma(Inconcenti) Piastrelli. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for the US Post Office as a postal carrier in Paterson, NJ. Joseph was also a parishioner at St. Anthony's RC Church in Paterson. He is survived by his son, Robert and his wife Susan, his daughter, Donna Wejnert and her husband Stephen, and one grandchild, Stephanie Wejnert. Joseph was pre-deceaed by his wife Carmella. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to The Morrison Funeral Home. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. As per Joe wishes all services were held in private.
