Joseph J. Wallace, Jr., 89, of Fayson Lakes, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 5th ,2018. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday, November 9th, 2018 10am at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church in Kinnelon, NJ. Burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.Joseph was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He lived in Fayson Lakes for 65 years. Joseph proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy. He was a teacher at the Richard Butler School in Butler before retiring. Joe was a former manager of the Stonybrook Pool in Butler and in his spare time loved woodworking and visiting Cape Cod. Joe is survived by his sons, Joseph III and wife Brooks and Robert and wife Sue; a son-in-law, Douglas Branch; cherished grandchildren; Jacqueline Vahab, Michael Branch, Lauren Branch and Christopher Wallace and three adored great grandchildren, Jesse and Avery Vahab and Kayla Wallace. Also surviving are nieces and a nephew.Joseph was predeceased by his dear daughter Mary Christine Branch, his devoted wife Frances and his parents, Joseph J. Sr. and Elizabeth Wallace.Viewing will be held Thursday November 8th, 2018 from 4-8pm at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church, 2 Miller Road, Kinnelon, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center https://giving.mskcc.org in his memory.Arrangements were entrusted to the Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ.
