Joseph 'Joe' Sciurba

Joseph Sciurba, age 88, of Tuckerton, N.J., formerly of Rutherford,N.J., died Friday, June 9, 2006 at Sea Crest Village Nursing Home, Little Egg Harbor.Mr. Sciurba was born January 15, 1918 at New York, N.Y. the son of the late Salvatore and the late Lucia (Mangogna) Sciurba. He married Vita Spatafora July 12, 1942 in New York,N.Y. Mr. Sciurba was a member of Member of the Lessing Passaic Lodge # 67 Free & Accepted Masons, for many years, and a Patent Holder, designer, and Builder ofequipment for the surgical industry.He is survived by his wife Vita (Spatafora) Sciurba , and two sons, Salvatore Sciurba, and Frank Sciurba, and Grandfather of Loren and Christopher Sciurba. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Monday, June 12, 2006 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm, at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Tuesday, June 13,2006 at 10:00am at St Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated.Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton following the mass.
