Joseph M Petracca

Joseph M Petracca, 77 of Riverdale, died July 5, 2013. Born in Spilinga, Itlay, he lived in Passaic as a young boy moving to the Riverdale area in 1975. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the NJ German Shepard Club where he was an avid lover of the breed. He is survived by his wife Anita, of Riverdale, eight children Lynne Parian, Joseph and Donna Petracca, Rosanne Spadaro, Pamela de Waal, Jennifer Rothacker, Michael and Mark Petracca. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and his brother Philip Petracca. Mr Petracca was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. "Family first than Dogs". Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 3:00-7:00 PM at The Morrison Funeral home. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 Am also at the funeral home. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052 would be appreciated.
