Joseph Marton

Joseph Marton, age 52, of Stockholm, NJ formerly of Passaic, NJ, passed away December 1, 2014 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Joseph was born in Jersey City, NJ. He was a self employed Contractor and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Rutgers University.Joe was a devoted, loving father whose world was his children. He loved to laugh and was a great cook who enjoyed cooking for his friends and his family. The annual Rib-Offs he hosted will be remembered with fondness. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved parents, Frank and Gizella (Fasi) Marton, the mother of his children, Patricia Marton, his adored children, Stephanie Marton, LilyJo Marton, Candice Romano and husband Andrew and Nicole Owens and husband Brandon, his loving siblings, Ferenc Marton Jr., and Elizabeth Marton-Soltis and husband Emil, two cherished grandchildren, Anthony Romano and Mia Owens. Joe is also survived by his niece, Kristen Soltis and nephew, Eric Soltis and many cousins. Visiting hours will be Saturday, December 6th, 2014 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held also on Saturday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Final Disposition will be private.
