Joseph P Philhower

Joseph P. Philhower, of Pompton Lakes, formerly of Butler, NJ, passed away on January 6th, 2015, he was 80 years old. Joseph was born in Chester, NJ, to his late parents, David H. and Blanche (Lambert) Philhower. Joe was a member of the Bloomingdale Social Club, the Rock Tavern Rod and Gun Club in New York and worked as a carpenter for Midland Park Lumber in Midland Park before retiring. He is survived by his beloved son, Brian Philhower and wife Ann, a loving brother Alex Lambert, two cherished grandchildren, Kyle and Keith and many nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his devoted wife Beverly (Sisco) Philhower and two dear siblings, Blanche Van Orden and Dave Philhower. Services will be private. The family will inter his ashes in Mt. Rest Cemetery in Butler at a later Date. The Morrison Funeral Home of Butler, NJ was entrusted with the arrangements
