Joseph R. Pavlak

Joseph R. Pavlak., age 81, lifelong resident of Kinnelon, NJ died Sunday, July 31, 2011. Mr. Pavlak was born in Newark, NJ the son of the late Joseph Sr. and the late Charlotte Pavlak. He served in the Army during the Korean War, worked for Farber Cement Block Paramus, NJ, was a long time member of the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Department serving as Captain of Fire Station #1, a former member of the Tri Boro First Aid Squad and a parishioner of Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church in Kinnelon. He is survived by his beloved children, Kieth Pavlak and his wife Susan, Mark Pavlak and his wife Anne and Scott Pavlak and 10 cherished grandchildren. Joseph was predeceased by his devoted wife Violet, a dear son, Glenn and a loving brother, Richard. Viewing hours will be Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church, Kinnelon. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery. www.themorrisonfuneralhome.com
