Joseph Richard Certo

Joseph Richard Certo of Butler, New Jersey died at home of heart failure on August 21, 2020. He was 34 years old. Joe will be remembered for his deep love of his family, sports, and movies. He savored lifes small pleasures, most often by enjoying meals with his loved ones. His greatest joy and love in life was fatherhood. Joe adored his son and namesake, Jojo. He was also tirelessly dedicated to his work in the emerging field of cyber insurance and managed that portfolio on behalf of E-Risk Services/Nationwide Insurance Company in Flanders, New Jersey. Joe graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in January 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In recognition of his high scholastic achievement, he earned admission into Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in 2008. He is predeceased by his beloved brother Christopher Certo and survived by his son Joseph "JoJo" Certo; mother Catherine Certo; father Joseph V. Certo; grandfather Dominic Certo; aunt and godmother Theresa Gregoretti; uncle and godfather Mike DeVito; great aunt Carol Mairs; aunt Anne DeVito; uncle George DeVito; uncle Danny DeVito; uncle Giuliano Gregoretti; girlfriend Michelle Corbett; and many loving cousins, family members, friends, and colleagues.
