Joseph W. Lapointe

Joseph W. LaPointe, age 72, of Butler, formerly of Clifton, entered into eternal rest, Monday, October 2, 2006 at his residence.Mr. LaPointe was born October 29, 1933 in East Orange, NJ, the son of the late John and the late Josephine (English) LaPointe. He served in the Navy during the Korean war.He was employed by DAYCO Corp. Ocala, Florida, as a Manager.Mr. La Pointe was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church, member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 943, and the Butler Booster Club, all in Butler.He is survived by his devoted wife, Josephine A. (nee Corso), his beloved children, Sue, Cathy, Tim and his wife Sandy, Patrick, Tom and his wife Janine, and Buck. Also surviving him are his five cherished grandchildren, Erin, Kyle, Gregory, Allison, and Christopher.A memorial visitation will be Thursday, October 5th ,2006, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
