Joyce Gallagher

April 6, 2020 was a very sad day for the Gallagher Family. We lost our dear Mom Mom - Pillar of our family Joyce Marie Mc Menamy Gallagher. Joyce was born in Paterson New Jersey on October 14,1932 and lived on Central Ave in Butler until she married Harold J. (Jerry ) Gallagher and moved to Kinnelon to raise her family. Joyce was forever gathering her family - children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews for family parties and celebrations. The fun, laughter and great food flowed as everyone enjoyed each other. We should all strive to emulate her: be kind, be generous, smile often, never miss a chance to party and always be ready to help family. Joyce's three children, Stephen Gallagher, Cindy Gallagher and Timothy Gallagher, her four grandchildren, Bryan Gallagher, Amy Alvarez, Kevin Gallagher and Kelsey Gallagher and her great grandchildren are at the top of a exceedingly long list of people who have a enormous hole in their hearts today. How lucky were we to have you in our lives for as long as we did. Life will never be the same without our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
