Julia Treweeke, 79, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Born in Newark on January 6, 1932, Julia was predeceased by her parents John and Rose Mary Dean, her husband William and her siblings Helen Eugley and Eugene Dean. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, the former financial secretary of the St. Anthony Columbiettes, and a longtime volunteer at the Holy Name Friary in Ringwood. She was the co-proprietor of B & T Movers and the Kinwood Inn. Julie was a joyfull and spirited woman and a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She is survived by beloved companion Lenny Sereda, her children, Lynn Schoenfelder, Thomas and wife Jill, Kate and husband Tom Elken, Bill and wife Dawn, her loving siblings Rosemary Vanderhoff and Phillip Carpenter, her cherished grandchildren, Colin, Kira, Thomas, Lisa, Katherine, Rachel, Amanda and Julia, and nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be on Friday, March 18, 2011, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity in her memory.
