Karen M Jobes

Karen Jobes, age 64, of Butler, NJ, passed away, Saturday, March 21, 2020 after a long illness. Karen was born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Theodore Jobes and the late Anne (nee MacKinnon) Jobes. She most recently worked as a Realtor at Weichert Realtors and for years prior worked as a successful insurance underwriter for various companies. Karen will be most remembered by all as a loving person who always smiled and made friends with everyone she met, always wanting to help people. Her dedication to the Tri Boro Animal Shelter was most important to her and brought many loving & forever caring friends into her life. She served as a shelter dog manager, committed dog walker (even roping her sister Cheryl into helping), and foster of numerous needy and homeless animals for many years. She is survived by sisters, Cheryl Jobes of Butler, Linda Fraas and husband Walter of Vernon, and her very precious nephew and niece, Erik Fraas and Melissa Fraas. A private cremation will be held, with a memorial service at a later date.
