Kathleen K. (Kay) Cleary, age 88, formerly of Butler, NJ, passed awayWednesday, March 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her lovinghusband of 64 years Bernard J. Cleary who passed away in 2016.Born in Pompton Lakes, the daughter of the late Clifford and Catherine(Rich) Kelly, Kay was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church inButler. A Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of St. Josephs NursingSchool and an active member of their Alumni Association. While raisingsix children Kay returned to school to obtain her Bachelor of Sciencein Nursing. She then had a rewarding career as a school nurse andhealth educator with Chatham Township School System.Kay is survived by her children, Brian Cleary, James and wife LindaCleary, Eileen Cleary, Richard Cleary and Lynn Neidhardt, Kathleen andhusband James Curtis, and Maureen Cleary. She also leaves sevengrandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Viewing hours will be Monday, April 2nd, 2018, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm atThe Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler.
