Kathleen M. Cirillo, the longest living resident of Smoke Rise, NJ, died peacefully at her home, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at the age of 59. Katie was a loving wife and mother, and devoted friend to so many in the area. Katie attended grade school at Our Lady of the Magnificat, high school at DePaul High School (class of 1975) and graduated from William Paterson College in Wayne, NJ. Katies profession was Group Fitness Director at SPA23 in Pompton Plains, NJ, where she encouraged countless individuals in pursuit of healthier living. She excelled at cultivating a long time following of devoted students and friends. Students participating in one of her classes always witnessed a positive, uplifting and life affirming experience. She was an epic storyteller, and enjoyed the splendor of outdoor activities and world travel. Katie is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony, and her cherished daughter Christina; her sisters Maureen (her husband Richard Hurley) and Susan; and brothers Kevin, Ozzie (his wife Eileen) and Michael (his spouse John Fagan), and sisters-in-law Connie OBrien (her husband Bob Berry), Debbie OBrien, her mother-in-law Mary Cirillo, sister in law, Annette Mitchell (nee Cirillo), (her husband Chuck), and brothers-in-law Gary Cirillo (his wife Karen), Andrew Cirillo (his wife Debbie). Katie is survived by her nieces and nephews, Danielle, Jack, Jenny, Chloe, Courtney, Leslie, Jamie, Megan, Nathan, Zachary, Abigail, Ian, Austin, Kelsey, Katherine and Tara. Memorial gathering hours will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 4 to 8pm in the Ryan Room at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church in Kinnelon, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be offered Friday 10am also at the Church. Entombment of ashes will follow the mass in the church cemetery. Donations to the Peoples Emergency Center in Philadelphia http://www.pec-cares.org/, a charity for families in need, can be made in lieu of flowers. Kathleen M.
