Kenneth "Kenny" Mackey passed away Thursday June 23rd, at the age of 69, at home surrounded by loved ones, after a year long battle with cancer. Kenny worked at Quincy Compressor in Pinebrook for 38 years. He was a life member of both Butler and Lincoln Park Fire Departments. He had a love for Nascar and motorcycles and was excited to have finally bought his first Harley. He was a member of the Butler United Methodist Church and loved going on mission trips to the Red Bird Mission in Beverly, KY each summer. He also loved doing volunteer work with the United Methodist Committee of Relief(UMCOR). Anyone that knew Kenny would describe him as someone who would always lend you a helping hand. He also had no problem throwing in a couple jokes with his witty personality, even dubbing himself "Grandfather" to his grandsons. Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Donna; his beloved daughters Kim Lisowski (Rich) and Tracie Guthaim (Jon); his mother Margaret; his brothers John, Kevin and Doug and his two cherished grandsons, RJ and Mason. He is also survived by Kara Shah and Keith Mackey. He is predeceased by his father George and brother Jimmy. Visiting hours will be held Friday, July 1st 2022, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. Funeral service's will also be on Friday 7pm also at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations to St Judes Childrens Hospital or a charity of your choice in Kennys memory would be greatly appreciated by the family. . Memorial Donation There are no gallery images.
