Kevin Milone, age 53, of Butler, formerly of Bloomingdale, died suddenly on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Mr. Milone was born in Paterson, NJ and worked as a cost control administrator at Silverstein Properties in New York City. Kevin was a 1976 graduate of Butler High School, where he participated in basketball and track, and was awarded the Armed Forces Scholarship Award. He was a member of the National Honor Society and a 1980 Graduate of Western New England College with a BS in Finance, graduating with high honors. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Butler and coached with the Butler PAL Football team and the St. Anthony's CYO Basketball team. He was an avid athlete participating in various running clubs and softball teams in the Triboro league for many years. Kevin also worked on the Freedom Tower construction project at the World Trade Center. He is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Lori A (nee Kaywork) Milone, his dear mother, Anne (nee Cooney) Milone, his cherished children, Ashley, Matthew and Jessica, a loving sister, Barbara Milone, sister in laws, Toni Jacobus and husband Tom, Diane Hartwig and husband Garry and Lisa Varrecchia and husband Mike. He is also survived by many adored nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Kevin was pre deceased by his father Dominic Richard Milone. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 13th, 2011, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be held Thursday 10am at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
