Lee James Allerman, 82, lifelong resident of Butler, passed away on December 4, 2016. He was born in Butler to the late Jacob and Rose (Struble) Allerman. Lee was a master craftsman who worked for Ulrich Kitchens in Ridgewood before retiring. He was a parishioner of Saint Anthony's RC Church in Butler and a veteran of the United States Army. Lee loved to spend time in his workshop building clocks, model airplanes, and whirligigs among many other things which he lovingly gifted to friends and family. He was also a Civil War enthusiast, crafting clever scenic battlefield dioramas. He is survived by his beloved children Jane Rey and husband Robert and Lisa El-Shall and husband Samy, his cherished grandchildren, Sara, Noha and Sherif and is also survived by a niece, two nephews and longtime companion Janet Curtis. Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral mass will be offered on Friday 11 AM at Saint Anthony's Church in Butler. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery also in Butler.
