Leocadia T. Zukowski, "Lee", age 86, of Pompton Plains, formerly of New Milford, NJ, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, February 23, 2008.Mrs. Zukowski was born in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late Wladyslaw and the late Konstancja (Zielewicz) Kozar. Mrs. Zukowski was the secretary for the Dean of Nursing at Bergen Community College.She is survived by three sons, Leon Zukowski, Mark Zukowski & wife, Jean Marie, Cris Zukowski and Eileen Counihan,two daughters, Constance Andrews & Stephen Andrews, Deborah Smith & Kent Smith, three cherished grandchildren, Daniel Zukowski & Thomas Zukowski,and Nicole Smith, and one brother Frank Kozar. She was pre deceased in life by her devoted husband,for 64 years, Leon J. Zukowski, her beloved son Eric Zukowski, and a sister Lottie Maciag.Viewing hours will be Wednesday, February 27th, 2008, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral mass will be Thursday, 10:30am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
