Leslie C. Carlyon

Leslie C. Carlyon, age 94, of Butler, passed into eternal rest Monday, June 15, 2009. Mr. Carlyon was born in Butler, NJ, the son of the late Charles and the late Elida (Hennion) Carlyon. He served in the Navy during World War II, worked for Butler & Bloomingdale Savings & Loan Butler, NJ, was a former member of the Rotary Club in Butler, and a former treasurer for the Butler United Methodist Church. He is survived by his devoted wife of 73 years, Anna P(Marion) Carlyon, and many loving nieces and nephews. Leslie was pre deceased in life by his siblings, Charles Risden, Grace Woodall, Richard Carlyon, and Frank Carlyon. Viewing hours will be Thursday, June 18,2009, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday 11:00am also at the funeral home.Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler.
