Lester K Eckrich

Lester K. Eckrich, 91, of Butler, NJ, passed away June 23, 2015. He was born in New York, NY, to the late John Andrew and the late Ethel Eckrich. He was an Army veteran during World War II and a member of the VFW in Butler, NJ. Lester was an avid outdoorsman and the owner of Twin Town TV and Appliances in Bloomingdale, NJ. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 loving years, Mary Ellen (Decker) Eckrich, six beloved children, Ellen Wassong and husband Lou, Cathy Mills and husband Chris, Les Eckrich and wife Donna, Patty Vreeland and husband John, Janet Eckrich and Mike Eckrich and wife Lisa,a loving sister, Janet Flynn, seven cherished grandchildren, 1 adored great grand child and many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm at Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 am also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, PO Box 222, Butler, NJ, 07405.
