Lillian M. Waite

Lillian M. Waite, age 87, of Wantage, NJ, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Tuesday, January 4th, 2011. Mrs. Waite was born in Woodport, NJ the daughter of the late Charles and the late Lillian (Poole) Gould. She was a homemaker who loved to be with her family and friends and always welcomed strangers with open arms. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years, Gordon "Pete" Waite, her beloved children, Jeanette Wakefield and husband Greg and Rod Waite and wife Kate, loving siblings, Louise and Richard Luke and 7 cherished grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lillian was pre deceased by her adored son Gordon W. Waite. Viewing hours will be Thursday, January 6th, 2011, from 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday 10:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
