Linda Lee Gallone

Linda Gallone, 66, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, passed away on April 21st, 2020. She was the third of four children born to John and Velma Matzura. Linda was predeceased by her parents, her older sister Gloria Matzura and her younger brother Gary Matzura. She is survived by her eldest sister Catherine Matzura, her husband Philip Gallone and her daughters Marcella and Holly Gallone. Linda Gallone was born Linda Lee Matzura on July 3rd 1953, to John Matzura and Velma May Matzura (Osterhoudt), of Boonton and Bloomingdale, New Jersey. She had two older sisters Catherine May Matzura and Gloria Marie Matzura, and a younger brother Gary Matzura. Linda graduated from Butler High School in 1971, as a long time member of the school band she played the clarinet.She then, furthered her education, graduating from William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Teaching.In current years, she worked as a Secretary for CPAs at Jeffrey & Company in Wayne, New Jersey. July 23rd 1988, Linda married Philip Gallone, of Butler, New Jersey, and on December 16th 1988, they gave birth to their first daughter Marcella Lynn Gallone. May 29th 1991, the couple were blessed with the birth of their second daughter, Holly Marie Gallone. he family resided in Bloomingdale, New Jersey, just a few streets away from her childhood home, until recently moving into an apartment on the other side of town. In 2005, Linda was diagnosed with Breast Cancer but won her fight and was in remission for years since. The days leading up to her passing, Linda was not feeling well and was home in self quarantine. On the morning of April 21st 2020, she was getting ready to go with her husband to get tested for the virus when her health took a drastic turn which resulted in her sudden passing. Because of recent situations, the family has chosen to not have any services at this time, but hope to have a more private gathering in the future. Linda will always be remembered for being a loving sister, wife and mother and her memory will live on through her friends, family, and loved ones.
