Linda M. MulliganJune 20, 1962 June 7, 2021 (age 58) Linda M. Mulligan (ne Cardarelli), 58, of Butler NJ, formerly of Elmwood Park. The first of three children born to Anthony and Mary Clara Cardarelli, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 7. Lin graduated from Paramus Catholic High School in 1980. A lifelong New Jersey resident, she started working for Grand Union / Stop n Shop in her late teens and remained with the company for forty-one years. For the last decade, she had also worked for Pediatric Arts as a CMA. She married Michael Mulligan of Woodcliff Lake, NJ on June 27, 1992 and their son Ryan was born on August 27, 1993.Lin was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Aside from their home, Lins "happy place" was the Jersey Shore, with its beaches, lighthouses, and sunsets. She loved to listen to the bands: YES, The Eagles, Foo Fighters and Queen, along with many others. She loved the Yankees and would never miss a Knicks game. Anyone that knew her, knew that she had a love for cooking and eating Italian food, especially her moms lasagna and eggplant parm, of course, accompanied with a glass of wine or a dirty martini. She was a true dog lover and the best dog mom to Barney, Kaylee and loved snuggling with her current pup, Vali.She had endless, long lasting friendships and loved to laugh until she cried. She was always there to listen and give great advice. Everyone who knew her would describe her as Funny. Quick-Witted. Strong. Fun-Loving. Humble and Thoughtful. She was kind, affectionate and genuine.Lin is survived by her husband Michael and son Ryan, her mother Mary Clara Cardarelli, her sister Donna Rogers and brother-in-law Rob Rogers, brother Peter Cardarelli, brothers-in-law Thomas Mulligan and his wife Yana, Joseph Mulligan and his wife Shey, and sisters-in-law Nora Mulligan and her husband Jim Rozen, and Sharon Burrell and her husband Christopher. She was the proud aunt of Randi and Christina Rogers, Jessica Ragazzo, DJ Mulligan, Maggie Rozen, Steve Counterman and Noelle Mulligan. She is predeceased by her father Anthony Cardarelli and son Joseph Gangi.She will always be in our hearts.
