Lois J. O'Connor

O'CONNOR- Lois J., age 81, of Pompton Lakes, NJ, formerly of Butler, NJ, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 9th, 2009. Mrs. O'Connor was born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of the late Arthur and the late Irene (Hovencamp) Shippee. Lois was parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ. She worked for Jordan Transportation, Butler, NJ, as a bookeeper. She is survived by her loving sister Irene Anderson, her cherished nieces and nephews William Anderson, Glenn Anderson, Lois Jeanne Anderson, Brian Anderson, Cray Anderson and wife Darlene, Kevin Anderson, Irene Jergensen and husband Bill, and Blair Anderson and wife Patie. Also surviving are seven adored grand nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her devoted husband of 50 years John "Jack" O'Connor. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, March 11, 2009, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral service will be Thursday, 11:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
