Loretta Thelma Miller, age 85, of Butler, died Monday, February 27, 2012 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Miller was born in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Percy and the late Ellen (Barbarick) Demeritt. She was a member of Butler United Methodist Church, a former member of Triboro First Aid Squad, the Butler PAL Cheerleading and Football Club and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Ira Miller, two beloved sons, Ira Jr. and wife Beverly and Robert D. and companion Danuta Stumpf, six cherished grandchildren, Diana, David, Laura, Amanda, Robert and Bryan and 12 adored great grand children. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Thursday, March 1st 2012, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered Friday 11:00am at The Butler United Methodist Church in Butler. Burial will follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery also in Butler.
