Lorin W. Jacobs

Lorin W. Jacobs, 90 , of Butler, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012. Lorin was born in Bronx, NY, and was the son of Philip Jacobs and Martha (Bordes) Jacobs. He is survived by his devoted wife, Helen (Fallon) Jacobs, of The Health Care at Bloomingdale, Bloomingdale, NJ, a beloved son, Will (Fallon) Jacobs and his wife Marianne, of Fountain Hills, AZ, two cherished grandchildren, Stephen, of N. Canton OH, and Bryan, his wife Karen and two adored great grandchildren, Noah and Logan, of Prosper, TX. Lorin worked for Friends Hardware in Pompton Lakes, NJ and also owned and operated Pompton Lakes Taxi. He proudly served his country during WW II in the United States Coast Guard (1942-1946). A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Butler, NJ, on May 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Followed by interment of ashes at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
