Lorraine Laauwe

Laauwe, Lorraine H., 79, passed away Friday, January 22. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mrs Laauwe was an 18 year resident of Pompton Lakes before moving to Bloomfield in 1990, where she lives until her admittance to the Lakeland Health Care Center in Wanaque. Lorraine graduated from Mary Burnham College in MA, where she received an A.B. in Sociology. She was a Realtor Associate for 20 years before being employed by Lakeland Health Care Center, where she was the Director of Nursing's secretary for 15 years. She was also President of the Bergen County Women's Club for five years. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Donald, son, Bradley and beloved dog, Daisy. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, from 6-8 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ.
