My mother was such a formidable life-force, a fierce, opinionated, no bs type of person whose presence naturally commanded respect.

How could she be gone, just like that?

She exuded so much passion and life it’s hard to imagine she is no longer here.

It doesn’t seem real.

For 35 years it was just the two of us for everything and anything. She was my mom, my friend, my idol and biggest influence.

I am so thankful to have had her as my mother, wouldn’t have it any other way.

I will always miss you and love you with all my heart.
