Margaret M. Mathews

Margaret M. Mathews, age 89, of Butler died Sunday, February 8, 2015 Mrs. Mathews was born in Butler, N.J. the daughter of the late Michael and the late Helen (Cain) Lyons. She was a beautiful person who loved her family and friends, was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in West Milford, NJ and was a proud Gold Star Mother. She is survived by her beloved son John and his wife Barbara, three cherished grandchildren, Stefanie and husband Tim, Ralph and wife Jessie and Johnny and wife Cassandra and five great grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Katie, Michael and Tyler. Margaret was predeceased by her devoted husband, Harold and her dear son, Joe. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday 10:00am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Milford in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey 151 Knollcroft Road Lyons, NJ 07939 in her memory.
