Margaret Spreen

Margaret Mary Spreen, age 97, of Kinnelon died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Spreen was born December 13, 1925, in Butler, NJ the daughter of the late William and the late Margaret (Shenise) Schmucker. She was a loving beautiful person who devoted her life to her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved children Janice Irven and husband Michael, William S. Spreen and wife Lina, Kathleen Cimiluca and husband Mark, Mark E. Spreen and wife Desiree, Kenneth Spreen and wife Sheryl, and loving sibling, Mary Van Zile, fifteen cherished grandchildren Jennifer Kandel and husband Seth, Jill Irven, Stephanie Schmidt and husband Joseph, Christine Kappner and husband Martin, Alyson Kasper and husband Branden, Kelly Spreen, Will Spreen, Sean Spreen, Jaclyn Cimiluca and husband Joe Artim, Matthew Cimiluca, Erin Spreen, Shannon Spreen and husband Sam Marks, Lauren Spreen, Matthew Figliolino and Brad Spreen and her adored great grandchildren, Alexander and Conor Kandel, Elizabeth Kappner, Anthony Schmidt and Camryn, Dylan and Ean Kasper. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her devoted loving husband , William and her dear siblings, Jeanette Brady, William Schmucker and Thomas Schmucker.

Viewing hours will be Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 2pm-6pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. A funeral Mass will be offered Monday 11am at Our Lady of The Magnificat RC Church, Kinnelon, NJ. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
