Margaret V. 'Peg' Misner

Margaret V. "Peg" Misner, 89, of West Milford, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on October 10, 2017. She was born in Hoboken, NJ, daughter of the late Anthony J. and Janet Volk. Peg was a parishioner of St. Josephs RC Church in West Milford, NJ. She was a licensed funeral director and worked for her father at the Volk Funeral Home in Hoboken, NJ. She wore many hats that included, avid golfer, softball player and gardner. Peg is survived by her beloved children, Margaret A. Lupo and her husband Jim and Kelly M. Misner, her loving brother, Robert J. Volk, her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Clair, Daniel, Travis and Gina Lupo and her adored great-grandchildren, Ava Mae and Grayson Lupo and Mark John Clair. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Peg was predeceased by her devoted husband, Richard Misner Sr., her siblings, Anne V. Brucher, Janet V. Schmidt, Anthony Volk and Maurie V. Benton, her dear daughter, Margaret Susan Clair and son-in-law, John Clair and dear grandson, Mark Clair and her son Richard Misner, Jr. Viewing hours will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM, at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler NJ. A funeral mass will be offered 10:30 am on Friday at St. Joseph's RC Church in West Milford. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
