Marie Anna Hruska

Maria Anna Theresa Hruska, 88 of Kinnelon passed away peacefully on October 9, 2018. Maria was the first and only one in her family to be born in the United States on May 24, 1930 she was born in West New York, NJ, daughter of the late Fred and Margaret Schmitz. Maria is survived by her four daughters and their husbands Anna and Vincent Macri of Clifton, NJ, Kathleen and Michael Casper of Vernon NJ, Margaret and Robert Steinmetz of East Stroudsburg, PA, Mary and Jody Wright of Kinnelon, NJ, and her three sons and their wives, John the 3rd of Albrightsville, PA, Michael and Michelle of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Thomas and Linda of Bergenfield, NJ. and a proud grandmother of 21 grandchildren, Vincent, John the 4th, Mark, Laura, Karen, William, Matthew, Maria, Julie, Tracey, Melissa, Sarah, Nicholas, Rosemarie, Vincent, John Thomas, Angel, Katelynn, Amanda, Colin, and Hope and even prouder great grandmother of 28 great grandchildren. Maria loved being a mother, grandmother and most of all a great grandmother. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Maria was predeceased by her husband John Jr., her dear daughter Theresa, and her husband Brian Mangan, her daughter in law Joanne Hruska, her two brothers Fritz and John and her sister Peggy Struble. Viewing hours will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 7 to 9 PM, Friday October 12, 2018 from 4 to 8pm at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. Saturday October 13, 2018 10 am at Morrison, followed by a funeral mass at 11 am at Our Lady of the Magnificat Church, 2 Miller Rd. Kinnelon.
