Marie Knight Dion

Marie Knight Dion, age 90, of Butler, formerly of Edison, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. She is survived by her beloved children, Robert Dion and wife Tracey Orella-Dion and Cynthia Dion Pine and husband Richard Pine, her loving sister Erdene Weymouth and husband Merl of Maine, her loving cousin Gerald C. Bangs, six cherished grandchildren and six adored great grand children. Marie was predeceased by two devoted husbands, Lt.Richard Jones and Howard S. Dion and a dear grandson Christopher Orella. She got her B.A. degree at the University of Me. at Orono and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She worked as a Registered Medical Technologist and taught school. In later years, Marie had worked as a medical assistant and volunteered at J.F.k Medical center in Edison for many years. She was dearly loved by family and friends and will be deeply missed. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013, from 7 pm to 9 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held 8 PM on Wednesday, also at the funeral home. All other services will be in private.
