Marilyn Shauger

Shauger, Marilyn P. (Patricia), 80, of Bloomingdale, NJ, passed away June 21, 2013 with her loving family at her side. Born in Paterson, NJ, she lived all of her life in Butler and Bloomingdale, having lived in Bloomingdale for the passed 50 years. She was a dental receptionist at Cabana Family Dental in Butler for six years retiring in 1994. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church in Pompton Lakes, NJ, a member of St. Mary's Adult Choir and an avid bowler in St. Mary's Bowling League. She was mostly a mother , homemaker and loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband James A. Shauger of Bloomingdale, NJ, two sons, Chris of Bloomingdale, NJ, and Michael of Los Angeles, CA, and one daughter, Karen Lisa of Jefferson Township, NJ, a loving sister Kathleen Nyhuis of West Yarmouth, MA, five cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah and Katie Lisa and Lainey and Jake. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Monday, June 24, 2-4 and 7-9 at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00am at St Mary's RC Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Burial to follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
