Martin Emmett Sisco, age 49, of Butler, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012. Mr. Sisco was born in Pompton Plains, NJ, and worked as an electronics technician for Zaxcom in Pompton Plains. Marty, or "Music Hero," played bass guitar in many rock bands, such as Captain Weej, White Trash Picnic, Quick Fix, and Greese Weezer. He loved electronics of all kinds, surveying land, reading maps, studying astronomy, fishing on his boat, and exploring new roads and highways. He is survived by his devoted wife, Martha (Reyna), his beloved mother, Elinor (Bayles), his loving siblings, Michael and wife Donna, Joan Smith and husband Glenn, two dear aunts, Linda Bayles and Virginia Bayles, many nieces and nephews, and his cherished pet cocker spaniel, Gracy. Martin was predeceased by his father Earl. Viewing hours will be Thursday, June 21, 2012, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
