Mary Alice Maher

Mary Alice Maher, age 98, of Kinnelon, died Saturday, March 6, 2010. Mary was born in Brentwood, Maryland, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Clarence Edwards. She married the late Joseph F Maher on August 3, 1935 and was married for 61 years. She worked for 20 years for Circle Line, NY, NY and was a great caregiver for her Aunt Nora Maher, mother-in-law, Mary Maher and her own mother, Bessie. She is survived by her son, Joseph C. Maher and wife Margaret, daughter, Barbara Ann Mackey Reich and her husband, Joseph of California. Seven grandchildren: Mary Maher Germinario and husband Anthony Germinario of Vernon, Kieran Maher and wife Susan of Highland Lakes, Brian Maher and wife Brenda of Union Beach, Colleen Maher Marcantonio and husband, Frank of Whippany, Sean Maher and wife Noel of Wayne, James Mackey and wife Tabitha, Kevin Mackey and wife, Christina. Also survived by 14 great grandchildren. Viewing hours will be 9:00-10:30 am at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am also at the Church. Interment immediately following at Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon, NJ.
