Mary C. RoweBeloved Mother and Cherished GrandmotherMary C. Rowe (Sweeney) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Born in Paterson, one of 10 children to William and Cathryn Sweeney. Mary spent most of her married life in Butler, NJ. A devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Anthony's Church, Rosary Altar Society and member of Butler Senior Citizens XYZ Club. Devoted to the well being and happiness of her family, Mary spent all of her life as a caring and giving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for the kindness and love she gave to all who knew her. Her husband of 44 years, Frank, pre-deceased her in 1998. She is survived by her 5 children, Brian Rowe and life companion, Laila Morris of Butler, NJ, Edward and wife Jean Rowe of Succasunna, NJ, Cathy and husband Dom Costantino of Succasunna, NJ, Paul and wife Lisa Rowe of Butler, NJ and MaryAnn and husband Bill Loreng of Succasunna, NJ, 11 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Kevin, Michael, Brenda, Amy, Erin, Kristi, Jodi, Stephen N, Stephen Matthew and Alex. Also survived by brother Jerry Sweeney of Mt. Holly and three sisters, Theresa Turner of Toms River, Cathy Capasso of Lakeville, Minnesota and Loretta Netzhimer of South Daytona, Fl and many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Sunday, May 15th, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00pm, and 7:00 to 9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered Monday 10:00am at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
