Mary Joan Bohn

Mary Joan Bohn, age 85, long time resident of Kinnelon, NJ, died Saturday, January 3rd, 2015. Mary was born in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late John and Lucille (Murphy) Shea. Mary attended business school after graduating from St. Dominic Academy. While employed as an Executive Secretary at U.S. Steel in lower Manhattan, she met Frederick W. Bohn, her husband for 55 years. She retired after 24 years as an Administrative Assistant at the College of St. Elizabeth's in Madison, NJ. She loved her church and put God and family above all else. Along with her devoted husband, Frederick, Mary is survived by her beloved children, William, Jim, Tom, John, Regina, F. Mark and her daughters-in-law, two loving sisters, Regina Shea and Lucille Foster, fifteen cherished grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing hours will be 5:00-9:00pm at Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church on Tuesday, January 6th, 2015. A funeral mass will be offered 10:00am on Wednesday also at the Church. The final disposition will immediately follow at Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon, NJ.
