Mary Kavanagh

Mary Kavanagh, age 80, of Butler, NJ, died Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Mrs. Kavanagh was born in Bayonne, NJ the daughter of the late Howard and the late Santa (Macchia) Frank. She was a registered nurse at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ and later a Supervisor for AT&T in Morristown, NJ before retiring. Mary was a former Girl Scout leader and loved her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved children, Kevin Kavanagh and wife Karin, Susan Tanti andhusband Joseph, Barbara Kasabri and husband Nick, Cathleen Dehnert and husband David and Mary Beth Brannigan and husband Michael along with her loving siblings, Larry Frank and wife Lorraine and Carol Vida and husband John. Mary adored and cherished her 17 grandchildren; Angelica, Amanda, Kristin, Michael, Lorin, Austin, Travis, Julia, Shannin, Daniel, Morgan, Joseph, Reilly, Alyssa, Brittany, Dominick and Bailey. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was pre deceased by her devoted husband William. Viewing hours will be Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral mass will be Monday, February 26th, 2018, 2pm at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
