Mary P. Van Zile

Mary P. Van Zile, 82, of Butler, formerly of Kinnelon, NJ, passed away on May 20, 2018. Mary was born in Charlottesville VA, daughter of the late George and Agnes Riemer. Mary was a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church in Butler and cared for her late son, Wayne, who was disabled as the result of an accident. Mary is survived by her beloved children, Thomas Van Zile and wife Jackie of Kinnelon, Brian Van Zile and wife Michele of Riverdale, and, Walter Van Zile Jr and wife Cara of Kinnelon, her loving brother, Francis Riemer of Alabama and her cherished grandchildren, Samantha Van Zile and Zachary Van Zile. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her devoted husband, Walter and her dear son Wayne. Viewing hours will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 9 to 11am at the Morrison funeral home 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home also on Tuesday. Burial to follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery also in Butler. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice Inpatient Unit, 400 West Blackwell Street, Dover, NJ 07801, in her memory.
