Mary Semper

Mary Semper, 96, of Kinnelon, formerly of Wallington, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family on December 9, 2016. She was born in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Walter and Kathryn Barnat. Mary worked as a quality control manager at Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley for many years before retiring and was a parishioner of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church in Wallington, NJ. Mary is survived by her beloved daughters - Arlene Durski and husband John, and Marion Brozena and husband Paul; her loving brother, Gene Barnet and wife Diane; her cherished grandchildren - John Durski and wife Adrianne, Kimberly Edelstein and husband John, Scott Durski, and Lauren Hurtado and husband Sergio, and her eight adored great-grandchildren- Jordan, Olivia, Gavin, Nadia, Althea, Arden, John and Matthew. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Mary was pre-deceased by her devoted husband John and a dear brother Joseph Barnet. A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 PM on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the Morrison Funeral Home 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ. Friends and family can meet 10 AM at the funeral home on Tuesday before proceeding to Our Lady of Magnificat RC Church, Kinnelon,NJ for 11 AM Mass.
