Mary Wassmer Post

Mary Wassmer Post, age 93, of Butler, NJ, entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 17, 2008.Mrs. Post was born in Butler, NJ, the daughter of the late George and the late Edna (Kimble) Holly. She worked as a sales person for Nees Bakery in Butler, and was part of the Volunteer Auxiliary at Chilton Memorial Hospital for many years. Mary was a parishioner and member of the Rosary Society at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, and a member and former officer of the Butler XYZ Club. She is survived by her beloved children, Elaine Dublin of Pompton Plains, Lawrence Wassmer Jr. and wife Betty of CO, Keith Wassmer of VA, one brother, two sisters, seven cherished grand children, and fourteen adored great grand children. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Lawrence Wassmer Sr. Viewing hours will be Sunday, July 20th, 2008, from 2:00 -4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral Mass will be Monday 11:00 am at St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
